Chemical and Biomedical Engineering

Welcome to the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering

The School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering offers a wide range of sophisticated analytical equipment and instrumentation – as well as analytical services – that can be accessed by external users.

The list of equipment and analysis categories availalbe includes:

  • 3D Printing
  • 3D X-ray Imaging
  • Cell and Tissue Culture
  • Chromatography (GC, HPLC, ULPC)
  • Dewattering
  • Electrical and Electronic Analysis
  • Elemental, Surface and Particle Analysis
  • Materials Grinding and Crushing
  • Mechanical Analysis
  • Microscopy (AFM, Optical, Fluorescent)
  • Rheometry
  • Spectroscopy (UV-Vis, FTIR, AAS, OWLS, ICP-OES, Fluorescence spectroscopy)
  • Thermal Analysis (DSC, TGA, TMA, TGA-FTIR, TG-DTA)
