Ian Holmes Imaging Centre

Welcome to the Bio21 Institute Ian Holmes Imaging Centre Booking System

 

 

To be able to access and book time on an instrument:

  1. Identify the instrument you wish to have access here
  2. Register for usage of the platform @ "Request Services" tab and "registration" request
  3. Make contact with the relevant IHIC staff member responsible for the instrument
  4. Receive an induction into the lab space and training on the instrument

The Ian Holmes Imaging Center @ Bio21 is a University of Melbourne core platform technology that makes available state-of-the art electron microscopes to the students and staff of the University of Melbourne, as well as the wider community. It provides a complementary suite of capabilities, located in or linked to PC2 and pathogen handling capabilities. The instrumentation is optimised for biological samples as well as material science and engineering applications with a strong emphasis on cryoEM.

The IHIC is an OPEN ACCESS platform
