The Ian Holmes Imaging Center @ Bio21 is a University of Melbourne core platform technology that makes available state-of-the art electron microscopes to the students and staff of the University of Melbourne, as well as the wider community. It provides a complementary suite of capabilities, located in or linked to PC2 and pathogen handling capabilities. The instrumentation is optimised for biological samples as well as material science and engineering applications with a strong emphasis on cryoEM.
The IHIC is an OPEN ACCESS platform
