Overview
The Eng & IT Workshop has been an indispensible part of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology since 1938. The tean pride themselves in providing high-quality workmanship and services to the staff and students from a variety of disciplines at the University of Melbourne and members of external reserach institutions. The facility supports a wide range of services and have expertise in handling a broad spectrum of equipments.
Services Include
Assistance in 3D printing and scanning process. The current 3D printing capabilities support the creation of objects up to 185mm x 275mm x 210mm conducted using a CAD file. We also support scanning of items which can be converted to compatible files used for 3D Printing.
Our skilled staff with years of experience are available to provide the best possible design solutions for your project, be it a research project or a final year project. Consult our team with your design requirements and get the best advise that will materialise your designs.
We deliver high precision manufacturing capabilities and also provide you with the tools to guide you through the manufacturing processes.
Faulty or broken equipments? Restore them back to working condition with the advise and expertise of our workshop staff.
